EASTLAND Glass Thermal Insulation Coating is a water-based eco-friendly transparent thermal insulation coating centered on rare earth rare gold nano functional materials, specially developed for glass substrates. Integrated with advanced nano optical heat insulation and infrared blocking technologies, it overcomes the drawbacks of traditional window films and tinted glass, ranking as a new-generation energy-saving material for green buildings.

Formulated with eco-friendly water-based resin and free of harmful additives, the product can be directly applied to tempered glass, insulated glass, ordinary flat glass and curved glass. An ultra-thin, highly transparent and compact protective film will form after curing. It effectively blocks solar infrared thermal radiation and ultraviolet rays without affecting daylighting or building appearance, delivering dual effects of heat insulation and cooling in summer as well as heat preservation in winter. Construction Process

Step 1: Base Surface Pretreatment (Critical Step)

1. Thoroughly remove dust, oil stains, limescale, glue marks, rust, aged dirt and other contaminants from the glass surface.

2. Wipe repeatedly with anhydrous alcohol and lint-free cloth to ensure the surface is clean, dry, free of water stains and grease.

3. Leave to air dry after cleaning. Start construction only when the base surface is completely clean and dust-free, avoiding impurities impairing adhesion and light transmittance.

Step 2: Coating Mixing and Preparation

The product is supplied as pre-proportioned two-component materials for mixed use. Stir thoroughly for 3 to 5 minutes after opening to achieve uniform consistency without delamination or sedimentation. Construction can proceed immediately once well mixed.

Step 3: Precise Coating Construction

1. Construction environment: Operate preferably in well-ventilated and dry surroundings at 5℃-35℃ with humidity no higher than 60%. Avoid outdoor work on rainy, windy or scorching hot days.

2. Tools: Special nano sponge applicator and high-quality soft roller; stiff brushes are prohibited.

3. Application method: Adopt standard horizontal coating and vertical finishing technique with thin multi-coat application, normally two coats total. Fully soak the applicator or roller before use. Apply the first thin base coat, then apply the second coat after surface drying completely. Ensure uniform coating thickness free of sagging, bubbles and brush marks.

Step 4: Natural Drying and Curing

1. Under ventilated ambient temperature, surface drying takes around 30 minutes and initial drying finishes in 2 hours.

2. A 24-hour standing period is required for full curing and stable performance.

3. Do not touch, wipe, wet or expose the coated glass to direct sunlight during curing to prevent coating damage, whitening and unevenness.

Step 5: Final Inspection and Maintenance

Qualified coating features uniform transparency without particles, scratches or sagging defects. Thermal insulation, light transmittance and UV resistance shall meet standards after curing. Avoid high-pressure water washing within 48 hours and rain exposure within 24 hours. Maintain naturally in regular environment; refrain from using strong acidic or alkaline detergents.
