EASTLAND AAC Panel
Product Description
EASTLAND AAC panels are large‑format, steel‑reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete elements. They share the same base composition as EASTLAND AAC blocks — sand, cement, lime, gypsum, and aluminum powder — but are cast with one or two layers of galvanized or epoxy‑coated steel mesh for enhanced structural performance. After autoclaving, the panels become a homogeneous composite where the concrete protects the steel from corrosion while the steel imparts flexural and tensile strength.
Key Technical Characteristics
Reinforced strength: typical bending tensile strength ≥ 4 MPa; can be designed for load‑bearing or cladding applications.
Lightweight: despite reinforcement, density ranges 425–750 kg/m³, significantly lighter than ordinary reinforced concrete.
High sound insulation: often used as acoustic barriers, achieving transmission loss > 35 dB for standard wall thicknesses; double‑layer reinforcement further improves structural damping.
Superior wind load resistance: suitable for high‑rise building cladding and highway noise barriers subject to dynamic wind pressure.
Fire resistance: up to 4 hours (depending on panel thickness and loading), meeting stringent safety codes for escape routes and plant walls.
Speed of erection: large panels (lengths up to 6 m or custom) reduce joint quantity and installation time.
Common Applications
External wall cladding and curtain wall backup panels
Load‑bearing wall panels for low‑ to mid‑rise construction
Acoustic noise barriers for highways, railways, tunnels, and subway lines
Fire‑rated partition walls in industrial plants and equipment rooms
Roof panels with thermal/structural composite action
Customization & Accessories
EASTLAND AAC panels are manufactured to specified length, width (typically 600 mm), and thickness (50 mm to 300 mm or more). They must be installed with compatible metal guide rails/fixings (e.g., galvanized steel channels, brackets, and post systems). For demanding acoustic requirements, panels can be combined with glass wool or rock wool back‑fill to achieve higher weighted sound reduction indices (Rw up to 55 dB+).
Quality Assurance
Reputable EASTLAND AAC panel manufacturers test products according to ISO standards for compressive strength, flexural capacity, sound insulation, and impact resistance — ensuring reliable performance for infrastructure and industrial projects worldwide.
