EASTLAND AAC Panel

EASTLAND AAC panels are large‑format, steel‑reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete elements. They share the same base composition as EASTLAND AAC blocks — sand, cement, lime, gypsum, and aluminum powder — but are cast with one or two layers of galvanized or epoxy‑coated steel mesh for enhanced structural performance. After autoclaving, the panels become a homogeneous composite where the concrete protects the steel from corrosion while the steel imparts flexural and tensile strength.

Key Technical Characteristics 

• Reinforced strength: typical bending tensile strength ≥ 4 MPa; can be designed for load‑bearing or cladding applications.

• Lightweight: despite reinforcement, density ranges 425–750 kg/m³, significantly lighter than ordinary reinforced concrete.

• High sound insulation: often used as acoustic barriers, achieving transmission loss > 35 dB for standard wall thicknesses; double‑layer reinforcement further improves structural damping.
